HOW DO I APPLY?
Applications for the 2023 HIT SQUAD open on September 15th and close September 29th. Link to application will be located on the Home Page of this website PLUSHGLOBAL.cc and on our Instagram @plushglobal (link in Bio).

WHEN WILL I KNOW IF I MADE THE TEAM?
We will notify you via email on October 18th, 2022 if you have been accepted.

CAN I APPLY IF I DON'T LIVE IN THE U.S.A.?
At this time, the team is for USA residents only.

WHAT DOES IT COST TO JOIN THE PLUSH GLOBAL "HIT SQUAD" AND WHAT IS INCLUDED?
The 2023 validation/membership fee is $80 and includes an Official Team Welcome package containing an official 2023 Team Tee Shirt, Trucker Hat, and Water Bottle. As a member of the team you are required to race in the 2023 Official Team Race Kit which will be available for pre-order purchase on October 25th, 2022. In addition to your race kit, you can purchase as much or as little additional team items as you’d like from the team store at that time.

WHAT DOES THE HIT SQUAD EXPECT FROM YOU AS A TEAM MEMBER?

Introduce the sport of triathlon to at least one new person. You can bring a friend or family member who has never watched a race to a triathlon. You can encourage someone to toe the line at a sprint triathlon. You can teach an intro to tri swim or transition clinic. The possibilities are endless when you love the sport of triathlon and want to share it with others.

Plan to race at least 1 triathlon throughout the 2023 season

Race exclusively in the HIT SQUAD Race Kit (we do have exceptions for local events where you want to race in your local tri club kit, please consult with your Regional Mentor for approvals).

Encourage and be respectful of other athletes

WHAT KIND OF ATHLETE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for athletes who enjoy the journey and are passionate about triathlon. Whether you race a sub 10 hour Ironman or you are looking to complete your first Sprint Distance tri, it’s showing up and exuding a positive attitude that counts.

DO I NEED TO BE FAST OR PODIUM TO BE ON THE TEAM?
No, you do not need to be speedy fast or place on the podium in races. It is more important to us at PLUSH GLOBAL that you love the sport of triathlon and want to share your passion for the sport with others…..encourage others on and off the course!

HOW BIG IS THE HIT SQUAD TEAM?
The HIT SQUAD has 10 Regions across the USA with a Team Mentor located in each region. The Mentor’s job in the region is to bring members together to train, race, share information, and have fun together! Each region will have approximately 100 to 200 members. We embrace having larger numbers of team members to create a stronger community on and off the race course to lift and support each other daily.

CAN I BE ON ANOTHER NATIONAL TRIATHLON TEAM?
We ask if you want to represent the PLUSH GLOBAL, HIT SQUAD, that you only represent this team, and that when racing a national Ironman, Challenge, Clash, or PTO event you list your team/club affiliation as “PLUSH GLOBAL, HIT SQUAD” and that you race exclusively in the official 2023 PLUSH GLOBAL, HIT SQUAD team race kit.

CAN I BE ON A LOCAL TRIATHLON TEAM/CLUB?
Yes, we encourage you to be involved in your local community. We ask that when you race outside of your local tri-club events, that you wear your PLUSH GLOBAL, HIT SQUAD team race kit.
